Phishing mails – how to protect!

Nowadays, phishing attempts pose a huge risk to any organization. If an employee reveals the email password in such phishing attempt, the damage for the organization can be immense.

So how do you protect against this?

There is actually quite a simple approach.

Don’t give the Users their email password. What they don’t know, they can’t reveal.

Hence a scammer can be as tricky as he can but he still won’t be able to get your employee’s password.

Of course this alone isn’t enough as a hacker could guess the account’s password as well. There are additional ways to protect, such as Two Factor Authentication (2FA), employee training, Audit reports, login alerts and others. A combination of several tactics works best.
